First day back after the christmas break.Doing wall gaps at Yew tree farm near Coniston.Awkward stone to wall all diamonds and difficult shapes, cowheads as my walling mate Darren Woolcock calls them. All you can do is end them in and try and make sure they are in full contact with the next stone ie walled tight. The stone determines its own look and the wall is about strength and containing livestock so aesthetics will be what they are. These wall gaps were probably caused by deer movement.
